Editorial Standards

How we research, write, review, and correct what we publish — and how we handle religious questions responsibly.

Last reviewed: June 2026

01 How our content is produced

Articles are written and edited by the Zawjni editorial team at the organization level. Each article carries a clear publish date and a visible last-updated date, and we revise pieces as products, prices, and facts change rather than leaving them stale.

02 Authorship and review

Zawjni publishes at the brand level: our content is a collaborative effort of the editorial and trust & safety teams rather than a single named author. Comparison and pricing claims are checked against the live products at the time of writing or update.

03 Religious (fiqh) content

Articles that touch on Islamic rulings are written as general, educational guidance — not as a fatwa. Where scholars differ between the madhāhib, we aim to note that difference rather than present a single position as definitive. For a binding ruling on your personal situation, please consult a qualified scholar. We welcome corrections from people with relevant scholarly knowledge.

04 Sourcing and accuracy

We aim to be specific and verifiable: prices, features, and figures reflect what we could confirm at the time of publication or last update. We do not fabricate statistics, reviews, or testimonials, and we label estimates as estimates.

05 Corrections and updates

If something is inaccurate or out of date, we fix it and refresh the last-updated date. Spotted an error? Email us and we will review it.

06 Independence and disclosure

Zawjni is an independent Arabic matrimony platform. When we compare ourselves to other services we say so plainly, and we describe competitors fairly — including where they do something better than us.
